2008 - Named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-American First Team making him the first player in program history to earn first team honors...named to the MIAC All-Conference Honorable Mention Team...semifinalist for the Draddy Trophy which honors accomplishments on the field and in the classroom as well as community activities...three-time MIAC All-Academic honoree...in Concordia's upset win over conference champion St. John's this season DeVries led the team in tackles with eight and forced one fumble and broke up one pass. The eight tackles was a career high for DeVries.

2007 - Played in all ten games for the Cobbers...had 26 tackles....two interceptions.

2006 - Played in all 10 games for the Cobbers... fifth on the team in tackles with 28, also had one interception...Lead the team in kick returns (13), yards (286) and second on the team in Kick return average (20.6), Also received two punt returns for two yards

2005 - Played in all 12 games as a freshman...carried the ball seven times for 96 yards and one touchdown...caught nine passes for 105 yards and one touchdown...led team in punt returns (17) and punt return average (9.1).

Personal: All-Conference, Conference MVP, All-Section, All-State 2nd Team in football…letter winner in football, basketball, and track at Mahnomen HS…son of James and Adelle…hobbies include snowmobiling, working on classic cars, and four-wheeling.
