MOORHEAD, Minn. (11/20/06)--Concordia senior fullback/punter Kevin Williamson led a contingent of seven Cobber players that earned MIAC postseason honors it was announced by the league office on Monday.

Williamson was named to the MIAC All-Conference First team as a running back and to the All-Conference Second Team as a punter. It is the second consecutive year that Williamson has earned MIAC All-Conference honors as a running back and first time as a punter. Last year he was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention Team.

Joining Williamson as first team selections are offensive tackle Grant Weller and defensive tackle Tyler Ledyard. It is the first postseason honor for Weller and second for Ledayrd who made the All-Conference Second Team last season.

MIAC All-Conference Second Team members included offensive guard Matt McCallum, running back Cory Johnson and linebacker Brennen Lewis. McCallum and Johnson are return honorees and Lewis is making his first appearance on the all-conference list.

Concordia senior Mike Grant was named to the MIAC Sportsmanship Team. As part of a conference-wide sportsmanship initiative, members of the All-MIAC Sportsmanship team are selected by their coaches and teammates as individuals who demonstrate ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field of competition.
