FATHER OF COLUMBINE VICTIM TO SPEAK AT

CONCORDIA COLLEGE

Concordia College and The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead will welcome Darrell Scott, the father of a 1999 Columbine tragedy victim, to speak at 2 p.m., Jan. 25 in Memorial Auditorium, on the Concordia College, Moorhead, Minn., campus.

On April 20, 1999, one teacher and 12 students lost their lives in a school shooting at Columbine High School, Littleton, Colo., including Scott’s daughter, Rachel. Her brother Craig was in the library that day and witnessed as 10 of his classmates were gunned down, including two of his best friends huddled beside him under a table.

Through the horrible tragedy, Scott will share a message of hope and kindness while telling the story of Rachel’s life and Craig’s recovery. Scott’s inspirational story has moved communities throughout the United States.

Tickets for the event are $3 for students and $5 for adults ($6 at the door) and are available at all Forum locations, Concordia Campus Information or Cultural Events Office and online at www.in-forum/rachelscott. For more information, call Sue Wiger at (701) 241-5419 or the Concordia Information Line at (218) 299-4515.
