Text Box: The annual Concordia / HFMA Spring Healthcare Institute will be held April 6 - April 7, 2006 at the Ramada Plaza Conference Center in Fargo, North Dakota. Today’s healthcare finance and administration professionals juggle a seemingly endless stream of performance criteria.  Our speakers will be addressing some of these challenges as well as  providing strategic insight toward establishing resources and developing networks.  Medicare, ethics of  disaster triage, the role of the finance officer in rationing and allocation of scare resources, financing needed capital, critical access, enhancing profitability through performance metrics, and building hope into the workplace are among the topics that will be discussed at this year’s Institute.  Register now to take advantage of early registration discounts. Students select from a variety of other courses to complete their Healthcare Management core. Certificates can be earned in Healthcare Administration Healthcare Finance Long Term Care Administration depending upon the courses students elect to take beyond the core courses. We believe the new curriculum will serve students better providing them with more flexibility in selecting areas of study in which to focus while providing them with a broader foundation through the core courses.
