Gift Assistance: Need-Based

Concordia Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and academic achievement. Students must complete the FAFSA on an annual basis. Renewal is based on continued financial need and academic achievement.

Concordia Grants are awarded based on financial need. Students must complete the FAFSA on an annual basis. Renewal is based on continued financial need.

Federal Pell Grants are available to students without a prior bachelor's degree who demonstrate exceptional financial need according to a federal eligibility formula. Students must complete the FAFSA on an annual basis. Renewal is based on continued financial need. Maximum award: $4,310.

Federal SEOG Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants are generally awarded to students who demonstrate exceptional financial need and are eligible to receive the Federal Pell Grant. Student must complete the FAFSA on an annual basis. Renewal is based on continued financial need.

Minnesota Grants are awarded to Minnesota residents without a prior bachelor's degree, who demonstrate financial need according to a state formula. Students must be enrolled in 3.75 courses each semester to receive full funding. Renewal is based on continued financial need. The maximum award is approximately $8372. Click here to learn more.

Gift Assistance: Non Need-Based

Student Loans: Need-Based

Federal Perkins Loan: One of the lowest cost student loans available, the Federal Perkins Loan is a need-based, subsidized loan, on which 5% annual interest is charged when the student enters repayment nine months after leaving school. Click here to learn more.

Federal Subsidized Stafford Loan: The Stafford Loan is a low-cost and flexible loan that is available for all students who have a need for funds. The interest rate as of July 1, 2006 is fixed at 6.8%. Click here to learn more.

Student Loan: Non Need-Based

Unsubsidized Federal Stafford Loan: The Stafford Loan is a low-cost and flexible loan that is available for all students who have a need for funds. The interest rate as of July 1, 2006 is fixed at 6.8%. Click here to learn more.

SELF Loan: The SELF Loan is a low-cost, unsubsidized and non-need based loan available to student borrowers with an eligible co-signer. Click here to learn more.

PLUS Loan: The Federal PLUS Loan is a long-term, non-need-based loan available for parent(s) to borrow on behalf of an undergraduate student. The interest rate as of July 1, 2006 is fixed at 7.9%. Click here to learn more.

Work Study and Student Employment
