The Passport Fund

Dedicated to providing need-based scholarships to young people who would not otherwise be able to
attend a Language Village.

Our first support for villager scholarships came in 1965 from Sons of Norway, along with various
service clubs, schools and individuals. That giving continues today.

Our donors support an urgent need — preparing young people for responsible citizenship in our
global community. It is our goal to help equip these future leaders with a global perspective to
succeed in that role. You have an opportunity to join us as a partner in fulfilling that mission.
Why Should I Contribute to Concordia Language Villages?

"It takes a unique combination of genius and magic to create an environment in which young people
believe in their own potential to learn another language and understand diverse cultures,"
says Christine Schulze, executive director of Concordia Language Villages. "And it takes the power of
thousands of individuals over nearly four decades to maintain and nurture this kind of program."

The Passport Fund roll of donors includes: current and former villagers; their parents, friends and relatives;
ethnic organizations; businesses and foundations; and current and former staff.

All of these supporters have found Concordia Language Villages to have global significance. They believe
if they support the Language Villages they can make a difference.

To join this group in support of deserving youth, please send a gift today to the Passport Fund. Thank you.
