Carl-Martin Carl-Martin Nelson is dean of Waldsee , the German Language Village (first half) at the Bemidji site and dean of English Europe. Nelson graduated from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minn., with a bachelor’s degree in English and German. He earned his master’s degree in writing from Northeastern University.

Nelson teaches high school English at St. Johnsbury Academy in St. Johnsbury, Vt.

Nelson has been on staff at Concordia Language Villages for 16 years.

He is fluent in German and has studied Norwegian.
