Experience:  Think you have a gift?  Try it out in service!  Put your gifts to use.

Career Center Coops, Internships, service in the community, Justice Journeys exploration seminars, Vocation Scholars Program, Job Shadowing, talk to others who are doing what you're interested in, Vocation Speakers in Residence

Examine:  Reflect on your experience.  What is God revealing?  What issues/concerns were you awoken to?  Where did you find great joy?  What gifts do you feel God is calling you to use again?  What common themes are arising?

Evaluate:  Your friends, family, and mentors can be a great resource for bouncing your ideas about vocation.  Talk with those who know you well.  Could they see you using your gifts in this way?  Is this consistent with who you are?  But remember, they may have vested interest in your future, so consider their suggestions, but have faith that God will make your call known.

Exercise:  Like a muscle, your gifts need to be exercised.  They need to be developed.  Keep using them.  Through using them, God will shape and hone you and help you clarify your call.
