A select number of grants are distributed each year to cover the tuition cost for students seeking to explore their vocation by interning with a nonprofit agency.
Application Criteria
These grants are intended to alleviate
the financial constraints for students concerned about the
cost of an unpaid practical vocation-related experience. Grants
will be given to those chosen by an application and selection
process that explores how this internship experience will
assist in further discernment of the student's vocation.
These grants offer
opportunities for deeper vocational reflection throughout
students’ internship experience, including a final reflection
essay due upon completion of the project and an evening reflection
event held at the beginning of the semester following the
internship to celebrate the experiences of all participants.
