Almost Vocation, but not quite?

In the above painting by surrealist J.C. Villalonga, we find people caught in their own little cubicles of life.  They are caught living life in isolation.  Although they are close to one another, they are separated by barriers.  Each one boxed into their own unique little space.

But life is about more.  What would it be like if suddenly these boxes were broken down and the uniqueness of each one was set free?

Living our vocation is about breaking down the walls that divide us and freeing us to live in community, using our gifts to serve one another!  It's about interacting, dialoguing and learning from each other!  It's about having the courage to be who we are.  It's about taking the uniqueness that we keep boxed in, and freeing it to affect and change the communities in which we live!

But where do we start?  We start by examining the questions at our very core:

Who am I?

Why am I here?

What is my purpose?
