Local sources:
Check with your judicatory for funding sources. Some have funds
for this purpose; e.g. the Southeastern Minnesota Synod ELCA
has had such a fund for some years, and the Wisconsin Conference
UCC is using a "Forward in Faith Campaign" to, in part, fund
sabbatical leaves for pastors in rural and smaller membership
churches. In addition, charitable organizations (for Lutherans,
local branches of Lutheran Brotherhood and AAL) may also be
able to supply such funds.
