CHARIS is a word from the Greek New Testament meaning "grace." Christians have always believed that God's grace in Christ is foundational for the church's witness and service, worship and unity.
CHARIS is a program of lifelong learning and grass roots ecumenical work. It is a partnership of Concordia College and judicatories of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Roman Catholic Church, the United Methodist Church, The Presbyterian Church (USA), the Episcopal Church, and the United Church of Christ.
