The Concordia College Chapter of Beta Beta Beta was formed in 1988 and
since that time over 480 students have joined. The requirements for full
membership include having completed three Biology courses and
maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or better. To be considered as a full member
you must tell the registrar office that you are a Biology major or minor,
because the list of potential members is generated by that office.
Invitations typically go out for new members late in the Fall semester.
The cost for full membership is $45.00 which includes a lifetime
membership to the organization and a two-year subscription to the journal
Bios. There is an additional $2.00 fee if you want
home-delivery of the journal, otherwise that are distributed by the Biology Department
via Campus mail. Associate membership is open to anyone interested in Biology. The cost is $35.00 and if you later qualify for full membership that amount is applied toward the membership fee. |
