Each month, an average of 5,210 people in
the Fargo-Moorhead community seek and receive assistance from
charitable feeding programs. Over 40% of those served are children.
This fall, in partnership with the Great
Plains Food Bank, the Concordia Community will help stock
the shelves of our local agencies through a special Homecoming
Harvest Food Drive. Students, alumni, parents and friends are
invited to share gifts of non-perishable food items as well
as personal care items throughout Homecoming week. These items
will be distributed by the Great
Plains Food Bank to agencies throughout Fargo-Moorhead.
Collection sites will include Coronation, Communion, Frosh Frolics,
Registration, Football Game and the Sunday Worship.
