2005 Outstanding Performances: Scored the fastest hat trick by a single player
in women's soccer history when she netted three goals against Elmhurst (Ill.)
on Sept. 9 in the first 9:24 of the game. Kelly already has five goals in the
team's first four games of the 2005 season. She leads the team in scoring with
14 points (5 goals/4 assists). That point total is one less than she had all
of last year and her goal total equals her output in 2005.
Career Highlights:
2004 - Played in all 20 games for the Cobbers...had 5 goals
and 5 assists for a total of 15 points on the year...her first goal as a Cobber
came in the second game against Luther.
Personal: A member of the Dean's List at Concordia...high school letters in soccer
and hockey at Bozeman Senior HS...hobbies include hiking, waterskiing, golfing,
camping, cross country skiing...favorite musical groups are Paul Simon and Tom
Petty...favorite foods are vegetables and ice cream with cake batter, cookie
dough and Reese's from ColdStone Creamery...favorite movie is Napoleon Dynamite.
Why Did You Choose to Come to Concordia? "To have the chance to play both
soccer and hockey and because of the academic programs that fitted my needs.
Also, I like vegetables and corn-on-the-cob is one of my favorites!
What do you like best about Concordia? "The soccer team, the friendly atmosphere
and the people."
The person I admire most is: "Tiffany Milbrett. She is my favorite female
soccer player."
