The Concordia Athletic Experience

The Concordia Student-Athlete

  • The top priority for student-athletes at Concordia College is to receive a quality education, followed by the chance to fulfill their athletic goals.

  • While some students go onto careers as professional athletes, all are expected to prepare themselves thoroughly in at least one academic area.

  • Cobber teams clearly win their share of conference and national titles, but success at Concordia is measured by the quality of experience each person gains through participation.

    Coaches Who Care

  • Athletics can play a positive role in college students' preparation for life.

  • Concordia's experienced and highly successful coaches are dedicated to developing each student-athlete as a whole person and an athlete.

  • Coaches actively help Cobber athletes experience personal growth and the satisfaction of knowing they have done their very best.

Financial Aid

The cost of attending Concordia College is the lowest of the MIAC colleges. Although Concordia cannot award athletic scholarships as a member of the MIAC and NCAA Division III, many student-athletes qualify for academic scholarships and grant assistance. Four-year merit awards of up to $50,000 are made each year to freshmen with exceptionally strong academic credentials.
