Dr. Alan Padgett Luther Seminary Speaks on Science and Christian Faith

Dr. Alan Padgett, professor at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, will present "Science and Christian Faith: Power, Limits, Place" on Sunday, March 17, 1:30-3:30pm in the Ivers Science building as part of F/M Communiversity.  Dr. Padgett will look at science and theology and the place of faith in both.

Long recognized for his contributions to science and theology discussions, Dr. Padgett has lectured in North America, China and Europe, written several books and published more than 100 articles and essays.  His most recent work is "Blackwell Companion to Science and Christianity" (2012, co-edited with J. B. Stump).  A graduate of Oxford University (D.Phil.), Padgett is a professor of systemic theology.   

The course fee for this presentation is $12.  Concordia staff and faculty pay $6; students may attend at no charge.
