Great Decisions Foreign Policy Discussions

You're invited to join in the Great Decisions Foreign Policy Discussions that take you beyond today's headlines by providing a look at significant challenges facing the world.  Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs, with Great Decisions groups meeting throughout the country.

Each discussion begins with a 30-minute video, produced by the independent Foreign Policy Association in collaboration with PBS.  The videos provide in-depth analysis and expert opinion from foreign policy experts on the most critical global issues facing America in the year ahead.  Then, with the help of local expert facilitators, participants have the opportunity to share ideas and learn other perspectives.

The sessions are the first four Saturdays in March, 1:30-3:30pm at Riverview Place, South University Drive and 54th Avenue in Fargo.  There is no charge, thanks to a grant from the North Dakota Humanities Council, a statewide nonprofit and affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities.  Sessions and facilitators are:

March 2 - Future fo the Euro.  Facilitated by Ralf Mehnert-Meland
March 9 - Iran.  Facilitated by Eric Johnson
March 16 - Threat Assessment.  Facilitated by Ron Hagemann
March 23 - China in Africa.  Facilitated by Chelle Lyons Hanson
