Box Office open for Concordia Theatre's Boeing Boeing

Concordia College Theatre is thrilled to present Boeing Boeing written by Marc Camoletti and translated by Beverley Cross and Francis Evans. This production will be directed by the newest addition to the Concordia College Theatre faculty, Christian Boy.

“Boeing Boeing is a slick 1960s farce about gender stereotypes and insincere marriage proposals – lots of them,” explains Boy.

With the help of his housekeeper, Bernard carefully juggles his engagements to three beautiful young flight attendants – Gloria, Gabriella, and Gretchen – with different flight schedules. Unfortunately for the playboy, weather delays and a faster Boeing jet cause problems with his elaborate plan. All set in his flat in Paris, France, the audience watches the hilarity unfold as Bernard’s plans go awry and his separate lives collide.

Christian Boy has designed, directed, and taught at Augustana College, University School of Milwaukee, University of Kansas, and Berry College. He holds degrees from Augustana College and the University of Kansas. Boeing Boeing will be Boy’s first production at Concordia.

“I'm so pleased to have joined the Concordia faculty and to be helping Boeing Boeing premiere in Fargo/Moorhead,” said Boy. “Come laugh with us at the Concordia Theatre over Valentine's weekend!”

Boeing Boeing will perform on the Mainstage of the Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre on February 14, 15, and 16th at 8:00pm and February 17th at 2:00pm.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $4 for students and seniors, and are free for Concordia students, faculty and staff.
