"Into the Woods" Box Office opens

The box office for Concordia Theatre Department's production of "Into the Woods" opens on October 31st.  The five-time Tony Award winning musical with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine will play in Concordia's Frances Frazier Comstock Theatre November 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, and 16th at 8:00pm, November 10th and 11th at 2:00pm, and November 14th at 7:30pm.

Dr. Jennifer Thomas directs a cast of 24 students representing a variety of majors and all five campus choirs.  Music faculty members Karen Hamilton and Dr. Jeffrey Meyer provide the music and pit orchestra direction.  The set design, by technical director Robert Christiansen, and costume design, by senior designer Eddy Barrows, incorporates a Tim-Burton style aesthetic that adds another dimension to the piece.
