Verlyn Anderson Offers Course on Fargo-Moorhead
Dr. Verlyn Anderson, former Concordia Library Director, will be offering the course, "Intriguing Statues in Fargo-Moorhead" in November through F/M Communiversity.
The course will focus on the origins of many statues in the community with an emphasis on the historical figures who are memorialized. Dr. Anderson will share stories about the artists who designed the statues and the history of the contributions of those celebrated in stone.
The course will be held on Saturdays, November 3 and 10 from 1:30-3:30pm at Riverview Place in Fargo. The course fee is $24; $12 for Concordia staff and faculty. To register or for more information, call 218-299-3438 or email communiversity@cord.edu.
