CYRUS.M.RUNNING GALLERY EXHIBITION SCHEDULE

 Theatrophilia: Frivolities, Curiosities, and Confusions—Recent Work by Eddy Barrows
Tuesday, November 6 – Sunday, December 9

This exhibit showcases assemblages, paintings and theatre work by artist, writer, and Concordia College faculty member, Eddy Barrows. Barrows’ work explores visual storytelling and altered states that celebrate theatre as a profession, the theatre in everyday objects, and the theatre in the landscape of the mind.

Native to Athens, Ohio, Eddy Barrows, formerly of Honolulu, Hawai’i, proudly declares Fargo, North Dakota his home. His interests include thrift stores, junk stores, antique stores, independent films, horror movies, art films, collecting vintage Paint-by-Number paintings and mid-century modern barbecue trays. His favorite foods are mandarin oranges with sliced bananas, spaghetti with meatballs, and sherbet of any flavor. His favorite spice is paprika. His most remarkable cat, Mr. Seaberry Quinn, now resides in the afterlife. He is currently the Senior Designer and Adjunct Faculty member for the theater program in the Communication Studies and Theatre Arts department of Concordia College.
