Events this week (Summer Programs)

The Office of Summer Programs would like to welcome the following groups who will be on Concordia College’s campus for the week of July 22nd through July 28th.

- Collegetown: Twenty International students will be at Concordia, preparing for future study at U.S. colleges and universities. Collegetown is designed to help prepare students academically, socially and culturally for smooth transitions to new and exciting academic adventures. This program also provides an outstanding opportunity to increase fluency, confidence and vocabulary through the wide array of exciting activities, lessons and programs. The students participating in this program are from China, Brazil, and Tanzania and will be on campus from July 8th to August 5th. Dr. Lisa Sethre-Hofstad is the director of Collegetown.
- SHL Volleyball Camp: Middle and high school students from around the region will be gathering to participate in a three day volleyball camp. Students and coaches from Concordia will mentor the students that participate in this camp. Tim Mosser, Concordia Head Volleyball Coach, will be directing the camp. This camp runs from July 23rd to July 26th.
- Masters of Education: Graduate students will be on campus to further develop their education through Concordia's Master of Education in World Language Instruction program. There will be approximately 20 individuals participating in this opportunity. This program will run from July 15th through July 29th.
