Sustaining Access
One of the greatest challenges facing the college is to continue providing access to a Concordia education. Even though the college prides itself on maintaining one of the lowest comprehensive fees among Minnesota’s private colleges,
90 percent of our students require financial aid.
The average aid package is more than $13,000 and more than half of our students work on campus or in the community to help pay for their education. A strong financial aid program is essential to the future of the college and our students.
The Campaign for Concordia builds on our reputation of providing an excellent value in education at a price families in this region can afford. To attract a diverse student population, enhanced financial aid programs ensure that all students, regardless of financial circumstances, have access to a quality Concordia education. To accomplish this, we must focus on:
1. Strengthening C-400 Annual Giving ($9.6 million)
- encourage yearly "mission essential" gifts
2. Growing Endowment ($9.4 million)
- provide student scholarships
- expand general operating support
