Department of Education Alumni

Alumni of our education department are doing some impressive things. Some are teaching overseas in various countries including England, New Zealand, Taiwan and Germany; others are making a difference in rural and inner city schools in the United States. They’re teaching Spanish in language immersion schools, leading programs at Concordia Language Villages and serving as Fulbright Teaching Scholars. One of our graduates was recently named Minnesota Teacher of the Year. Many alumni go on to graduate school, usually after they have a couple years of teaching experience.

Others use their education backgrounds to pursue careers in different fields, including law, ministry and business. No matter what, your liberal arts foundation and studies with Concordia’s education department will prepare you for a bright future.
