More than 100 Concordia students took the opportunities of a lifetime over their spring breaks. Their weeklong adventures explored places around the world, from Brazil to Japan, on Concordia’s Exploration Seminars for complete cultural immersion learning experiences.

The 10-day trips were part of a semester long class, emphasizing the comprehension of cultures, languages, travel, religions and learning across all academic disciplines. Professors built a foundation of knowledge before the trips and afterwards they connected with students about the experience.

This year, Concordia offered nine Exploration Seminars in which 103 students participated in, traveling with 12 faculty members. Some explored the religions of Egypt, health and culture in Brazil, Vikings of old and new in Norway, or the footsteps of Martin Luther in Germany.
