Warm Greetings in Cold Weather

Cobbers lent time, energy and lower-arm stamina to the century-old tradition of bell ringing in early December. More than 40 students volunteered to raise money through the familiar red kettles of the Salvation Army at various locations in Moorhead. The project was part of a service-learning opportunity for residents of Brown Hall who partner yearly with a different community agency. "The Salvation Army plays a big role in helping those who are hungry and need different necessities so it's great to help help give back to this community that we're part of for most of the year,” says Hannah Mohs ‘13, the directors assistant at Brown Hall.
