Student Services

Even the most talented and motivated student needs a little help now and then – whether it's sharpening study skills, finding the library and research resources you need, getting started on a career search or just staying healthy. At Concordia, whatever you need, all you have to do is ask.

Academic Enhancement Center

Whether you’re looking for a little help for one of your classes or need to hone your study skills, the Academic Enhancement Center can help. We offer one-on-one counseling with professional staff, along with peer tutoring in specific subjects. Our professional academic counselors can help assess your study skills and learning style, and work with you to make your academic time most effective.

Health & Wellness
You know you can’t do your best if you’re under the weather or struggling with emotional situations – but we can help. The Kjos Health Center can assist with illnesses and refer you to another medical facility if needed. The Counseling Center has professional counselors and offers free individual, couple and group counseling for students. And we also offer assistance for students with disabilities. We also provide student information and assistance related to alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs and sexual assault / dating violence. Our newest addition, Student Health 101, is a comprehensive, interactive monthly newsletter.

Library
The Carl B. Ylvisaker Library is home to 300,000 books, 1,200 magazine subscriptions, 50 daily newspapers and thousands of e-journals and databases. In addition to having just what you need for your papers and projects, it’s a great place to study and a convenient location on campus.

Career Center

Located in Academy Hall, the Career Center offers four major resources – the Job Shop, the Cooperative Education Office, career planning and job search assistance – along with a Career Center Library and networking services. They’re all designed to help you prepare for and land the internship and job of your dreams.

Computer Support
If you have a problem with a campus computer or connection, contact the Computer Support office. We can help with connections, installing anti-virus software and removing viruses from your personal computers.
