Where to Go

Of course, concentrating on your studies and doing well academically should be your main focus as a student at Concordia College. But we know you’ll also want to spend lots of time with new friends and get to know the community and area a little better. Fargo-Moorhead offers all kinds of activities, from theatre and sports, to shopping, eating out, museums, parks and more.

If you’re up for a few hours in the car, you could always head to other popular Minnesota destinations, including Minneapolis-St. Paul or Duluth. Enjoy a day at the beach in Detroit Lakes or spend an afternoon hiking trails, swimming, kayaking or biking at the beautiful Itasca State Park. A little further drive, about five hours, will bring you into North Dakota’s striking Theodore Roosevelt National Park.

Canada is just a couple hours north as well, an excellent location for a weekend trip or a longer visit during the summer. Find out more about traveling in Canada.
