Top 5 Things to Remember About H1N1

1.    Follow important health precautions to avoid the flu.

2.    Recognize flu symptoms and follow treatment guidelines. Call Concordia's Health Center (299-3662, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday) if you have any questions.  After hours, call MeritCare Ask-A-Nurse (234-5000).

3.    If you have flu-like symptoms, STAY HOME (or in your residence hall room or off-campus apartment). Do not go to work or class. Do not return until you are fever free for at least 24 hours without fever reducers.

4.    Notify your department/supervisor/professor if you will be absent AND also report it using this electronic form.

5.    Students- Do not leave your room to eat. When you register that you are ill with the flu on the electronic form, you will be able to note (if you have a board plan) that you need meal delivery. Arrangements will be made through the Dining Service and Residence Life to bring pre-packaged meals to your room.
