Students who are found to be in violation of Concordia College's alcohol policy will be faced with a variety sanctions. Concordia places a strong emphasis on educational sanctions to increase the likelihood that the student will learn something from the situation. These educational sanctions may vary from an online screening which provides personal feedback to the student about their drinking patterns all the way up to evaluations for alcohol abuse and dependency.

Students will also be sanctioned monetarily. Concordia has long tried to keep our fine structure similar to that used by local law enforcement. The fines for violating the alcohol policy on our campus rage from $100-200 (depending on # of offenses and seriousness of the incident). It is the policy of Concordia College to notify parents (of dependent students) of any serious alcohol incident (those requiring hospitalization or transportation to the detox center) as well as any multiple violations of campus alcohol policy.
