Events

  • All major events must be properly scheduled and approved by the Office of Student Leadership and Service according to established procedures governing all activities.
  • The criteria used for the approval are:
          - The sponsoring organization shall show financial responsibility for the event, such as the music, security officers, etc.
          - The event shall not conflict with previously scheduled major events for the same date.
          - Discretion shall be exercised in the selection of bands, both as to quality and personnel.
  • The responsibility for control of the event and the conduct of the individuals attending will rest with the sponsoring organization's officials:
          - The event must have the appropriate number of security officers. Arrangements should be made with the Director of Security/Public Safety.
          - Only Concordia students and their guests will be permitted to attend events.
          - The sponsoring organization has the right to request to see IDs.
  • There shall be no off-campus publicity for Concordia College events.
