Camping, Outdoor Fires, and Cooking
Camping is not allowed on campus. "Camping" includes, but is not limited to: use of tents, sleeping bags or other outdoor sleeping arrangements including overnight occupancy of a vehicle parked on college property.
Bonfires, campfires and outdoor barbecuing/cooking are not allowed on campus. Requests to camp, hold bonfires, cookouts, and other large group outdoor activities on college grounds must be approved by Campus Security/Public Safety. The Campus Security/Public Safety department may grant occasional exceptions to this policy for special events. If an exception is granted, the organization/group may be required to have a security officer present. Sponsoring organizations/groups are responsible for paying the wages of security staff required for the event.
