Additional Information: We've both had the opportunity to serve on Student Government and have seen where it currently is, but we can also see where Student Government can go. Coming from different corners of campus allows us to represent the most students possible and help give students the voice they deserve. We're excited for the opportunity to bring our different backgrounds and experiences to this organization and transform SGA to what it should be.

Senior Class Representatives

Carly Grandner

Why are you running?: This year I served as the Chief of Staff on the executive team for Student Government. I have come to truly enjoy the organization and get great satisfaction from working toward the goals of the student body. I have developed an understanding of how the organization works and feel like I can continue to contribute new ideas and hard work that will add to the betterment of our campus and student body. Because of all of the other activities I do, I think Class Representative would be a good fit for my involvement in SGA. I would love to serve on the committees, take part in SGA events and fundraisers, and help the organization in any way I can with all of the experience and knowledge that I've gained this past year and previously.

Additional Comments: I love SGA!

Allison Richards

Allison Richards

Hometown: Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Major: Elementary Education, English minor

Involvement on Campus: Homecoming Committee, Orientation Leader, Education Club Representative, Habitat for Humanity Leader, Student Ambassador

Why are you running?: As Senior Class Representative, I would like to represent our 2014 senior class. I will serve as a voice for my fellow classmates and do everything I can to make sure that the questions, concerns and comments of my class are heard by the members of SGA. I will strive for perfection and excellence as a representative of the senior class. I will encourage my classmates and all of Concordia's student body to get involved in SGA, campus activities, and opportunities in the greater Fargo-Moorhead area. I will do everything I can to better Concordia and all of the student body, especially the class of 2014 in this position.

Additional Comments: It would be an honor and a privilege to represent the class of 2014.

Interests: Meeting new people

Why are you running?: I believe that I would serve well as a link between the student body and Concordia's student government. I'm happy to help other students in virtually any regard and am always looking to please. I'm also interested in the governmental aspect of the Representative position, the work involved that makes Concordia operate smoothly.

Additional Comments: If you don't know me, feel free to come talk to me. I'm an easy-going guy.

Why are you running?: I do my best to be a man of the people, for the people, and SGA seems to be the prime vessel to achieve such a goal. I love my school and I want to be a part of making it the best darn place it can be.

Additional Comments: My goal is to have Concordia rival Disneyland as the happiest place on Earth.

Why are you running?: I have always thought of myself as somebody that someone can easily talk to, so if people have concerns or suggestions about what is happening on campus, I would like to be able to help in any way I can. Being an SGA Class Representative is one of the best ways to help my fellow Cobbers out.
