Hands For Change

Hands for Change is a collaboration between CSC and New Student Orientation at Concordia College.  Each August, Concordia students and faculty put in approximately 2,000 hours of community service during this one morning event.  Groups of students go out into the community to learn more about how they can make a difference during their time at Concordia.  Some of the projects that the groups partake in include: city cleanup and upkeep, visiting with seniors at local nursing homes, and mentoring young children at daycares.

The goal of Hands for Change is to give new students an introduction to service-learning at Concordia and to the Fargo-Moorhead Community.

This year's Hands for Change is August 26, 2013.
