About
Mission Statement
To develop strong, viable relations between the faculty, administration, and the students of the college community; to further enhance the quality of life and education of the college; and to act as the official representatives of the student body subject to the will of the students at large.
2009-2010 Platform Goals
- Continue to actively represent students' concerns on campus
- Monitor the transition to co-ed dorms and address issues relating to visitation in the townhouses and college apartments
- Increase the number of Yellow Bikes on campus
- Work towards strengthening the Advisement process
- Incorporate the Responsibility and Ethics Statement into student life
- Increase student involvement on campus and increase forum opportunities for students to voice opinions
- Address student concerns regarding wireless internet and other technology
- Continue to explore alternative recycling options and changes to promote environmental sustainability
- Continue to explore alternative laundry options in the residence halls
- Continue to hold a meaningful Day of Reckoning and MLK day celebrations
- Increase the scope of media organizations on campus
- Address issues concerning student safety on campus
