The Day of Reckoning is happening on Saturday, October 4. This is event is meant to open our eyes to some of the issues facing our world today. You can learn more about the event, see the video and check out the schedule of events here.

Thank-you to everyone who registered to vote during Political Awareness Week. We got word that over 150 students registered to vote! This is great news. If you missed the chance to register to vote, check out how to do it at the MN Office of the Secretary of the State or check out the form on the Rock the Vote website. If plan to vote in North Dakota, you do not need to register to vote.

The ECC is looking for applicants for the 2009 Campus Service Commission Commissioner. Click here for more information. Applications are due October 8th at 4:00pm.

The ECC appointed a new Orientation Committee Chair. Congratulations Tony Berghuis on your new position. Also, the ECC recently appointed Sara Chojnacki as the new Student Government Public Relations Associate Commissioner. The Council also recently oversaw the SGA Freshmen Class Representative elections. Congratulations to Tim Schlueter and Stefan Olson who were elected by their peers to be this year's SGA Freshmen Class Representatives. Below are the details from the elections.
