Are you looking for a way to become more involved in the Orientation program? There are several ways that you can contribute to the Concordia community through leadership during Orientation. All are great ways to develop your leadership skills and meet new people!
Orientation Committee
The Orientation Committee is comprised of seven students and an advisor. The committee coordinates the various events and activities during Orientation. Committee members are selected in October and work throughout the academic year to prepare for Fall Orientation.
Orientation Committee Responsibilities
Orientation Leader
Orientation Leaders have a great deal of interaction with new students during Fall Orientation. Each Orientation group has a pair of Orientation Leaders who serve as guides throughout the first few days at Concordia. This peer mentoring connection is important throughout the first year. Orientation Leaders are selected in February. Look for more information about the application process in January 2010.
Orientation Volunteer
Orientation Volunteers are critical to successful implementation of Orientation events and plans. Orientation Volunteers provide information to new students and their families, serve as liaisons, and work to establish a helpful and welcoming environment to new students during Fall Orientation. Orientation Volunteers are selected in February. Look for more information about the application process in January 2010.
