International Student Orientation 2009

New international students have an Orientation designed just for you to address your academic, cultural, and social transition to Concordia. We encourage new international students to arrive to campus on August 26 or 27. International Student Orientation begins with a casual social on the evening of the 27th during which you'll meet other students. Orientation on the 28th and 29th will focus on visa regulations, U.S. culture, and academic expectations. We’ll also cover banking, employment, health insurance, culture shock and cultural adjustment, along with introducing you to support people on campus. Orientation is the best way to begin your successful transition to Concordia!
