Orientation 2008
Sunday, Aug. 24-Wednesday, Aug. 27
We sure know how to kick off a school year at Concordia! You won’t just be welcomed onto campus, you’ll spend your first four days in a
flurry of fun activities planned just for you and other first-year and transfer students. If you’re an international student, you’ll have an additional exciting
International Student Orientation event to attend earlier in the week.
Orientation is designed with you in mind, giving you plenty of opportunities to get used to campus life, form lasting friendships, relax and just adjust to your new life at Concordia.
From meeting your roommate and getting settled in your
residence hall to participating in tons of fun activities with your Orientation Club members and even joining hundreds of other Concordia students in a community-wide service-learning project, you’ll feel at home before you know it.
Some of the highlights of the week, held Sunday, Aug. 24-Wednesday, Aug. 27, are the Welcome Show, getting your own Cobber beanie, meeting your Faculty Mentor and Inquiry Seminar professor, and Hands for Change.
All of these events are planned and coordinated by an
Orientation Committee of nine students who loved their own Orientation experiences and know how important this week is for you.
