Orientation
What is Fall Orientation? In addition to Summer Orientation, there are four days of Fall Orientation that immediately precede the beginning of fall semester courses. During Fall Orientation, students are placed in Orientation clubs, which consist of students who are registered in two fall courses together. There are two Orientation Leaders who are upperclass students and one Faculty Mentor who guide and mentor each club. In most cases, the Faculty Mentor of each club is also an instructor for one of the courses the group will take during fall semester.
These relationships, both with the faculty and peers, assist new students in their transition to Concordia. The sessions planned during Fall Orientation further prepare new students to succeed in and out of the classroom. New friendships, fun, and becoming engaged in the life of the campus are things that students remember long after Fall Orientation has ended.
Where can I find more information?
The schedule will become available online in August. You will also receive a letter from their Orientation Leaders in August prior to coming to campus.
