Hobbies/Interests: Well, I love to hang with my friends, read, learn new things, take care of animals, and I am a major movie buff (I love everything about them!).
Favorite thing about Concordia: The friendly atmosphere! People you don't even know will often wave and say hello. The accepting and welcoming students and faculty.
Advice to new students: Be prepared to work hard. College course work isn't easy, but with time management and dedication, you will be able to do it!
Name: Anthony Benz
Class: 2013
Major: Vocal Music Education
College Activities: Concordia Choir, Student Ambassador, ACDA
Hobbies/Interests: Reading (I love Stephen King!), playing piano, watching movies, hanging out around FM
Favorite thing about Concordia: I love the feeling of community here. It's literally impossible for me to walk anywhere on campus without saying hi to someone I know. Everyone is also really supportive of each other.
Advice to new students: Don't stress and try new things! I spent the beginning of my freshman year being timid and shy. The easiest way to enjoy college is to step a little outside of your comfort zone and meet new people.
