Advice to new students: Be as outgoing as possible. You never know where you will find those friends that make Concordia feel like home.

Major: Food/Nutrition and Dietetics

College Activities: I will be President of the Student Dietetic Association this upcoming year, a member of Colleges Against Cancer, participate in LeadNow, have helped on Homecoming and Family Weekend committees, and I have volunteered through Cobber Kids, Nokomis, and Habitat ReStore. I also work as a Nutrition Assistant in Dining Services and at the Circulation Desk in the library. 

Hobbies/Interests: I love to cook and bake! Those are my favorite ways to relieve stress, too! I enjoy working out, relaxing on the couch with a good book to read, and spending as much time with family and friends as possible!  

Favorite thing about Concordia: My favorite thing about Concordia is how willing faculty, staff, and peers are to help! It's extremely easy to ask for help and you will always be pointed in the right direction, no matter what your question or situation is.

Advice to new students: Be open to the change you are taking on! Try new things and get out of your comfort zone! Concordia is a wonderful place and you will find the opportunities to be involved are endless!
