Name: Phil Knutson

Class: 2013

Major: Chemistry

College Activities: Chemistry Club, Science Academy, Choir, and Valhalla Ultimate Frisbee

Hobbies/ Interests: My interests include things such as singing, rollerblading, travelling, and reading a great book.

Favorite thing about Concordia: The structure of its education is phenomenal and unlike any public university I've sat in on and studied at. The professors are a unique breed dedicating the entirety of their time and efforts into helping students with not only their studies but their preparation for their post-graduate endeavors.

Advice to new students: Take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself to you. Hold no regrets and strive to never hold a "What if?" thought. Work in a social life at Concordia into your studies and have a bit of fun, it's just as important as your studies. Do study but have fun doing it!

Favorite thing about Concordia: It's a small campus that lets you get to know a lot of different people. It's really awesome to walk around campus and see people you know :)

Advice to new students: Ask questions! If there is anything at all that you're wondering about, feel free to ask any upperclassman. We've been through the first year of college and we totally understand that there will be things you don't understand and need help with. So feel free to ask!
