Hands for Change

Hands for Change introduces new students to the Service-Learning model that students will experience through their classes and to the opportunities available through Campus Service Commission. During Orientation, groups of new students go out into the community to learn more about how they can make a difference during their time at Concordia.

Concordia students and faculty put in approximately 2,000 hours of community service during this morning event.  Some of the projects that groups partake in include: city cleanup and upkeep, visiting with seniors at local nursing homes, and mentoring young children at daycares and local schools.
