The 8th Street Forum

Faculty Advisor:

Dawn Duncan
The mission of The 8th Street Forum is to promote challenging and continuous dialogue among the Concordia community. It is a peer driven platform for students to articulate their unique perspectives on topics significant to the mission of Concordia College and the theme of our curriculum.

The staff of The 8th Street Forum will select several broad topics for each volume. Each topic shall be broad in its scope and impact as well as interdisciplinary.  Each topic will be accompanied by several prompts or guiding questions for students to respond to in their submissions.

Submissions received for each topic will be published in sets. This ensures multiple perspectives are represented and presented to readers for consideration. Submissions will be selected on quality of writing as well as thoughtfulness and uniqueness of perspective. The 8th Street Forum will be published once each semester.
