Student Peace Alliance was founded on the idea that a reduction in violence is possible in our world today. To achieve this goal, SPA on Concordia's Campus will be meeting with the intention of exploring how this is possible by using discussion about successful and failed states and more. We aim to discover the truth in the world and not just accept what the media offers to us today. Also, we will be engaging in our local community through community service acts. There is no exact time commitment required for our club, but we would like to have as many people who are interested participate. It is important that we find a way to begin building peace today for those tomorrow.
