Student Organizations
Student Nurses Association
Mission: To motivate and inspire students to promote health/wellness and enrich their education through active involvement on Concordia's campus and in the community.
Past Activities include (we are open to new ideas!):
Volunteering at Church's United for the Homeless, Project HERO, and Rheault Farm (for Santa's Village) Reading stories to children staying at the Sanford's Children's' Hospital
Participating in Trick-or-Canning, Homecoming Parade, campus Health Fair, and Concordia Relay for Life Hosting an SNA Christmas party
We have the following leadership positions: President(s), Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Director of Funds, Director(s) of Publicity, Director(s) of Service Projects, Director of Community Health, Class Representatives (Sophomore and Junior), and Student Nurse of the Year
We typically meet once a month as a group and the board members meet an additional time every month (these meetings typically land during chapel time on a Monday, Wednesday, or Friday due to the hectic class schedule for nursing students). There are on average 1-2 volunteer opportunities every month, and it is strongly recommended that members partake in at least two service projects each year.
