Student Healthcare Management Association
Student Healthcare Management Association (SHMA) is an organization for students either in or interested in majoring in Healthcare Administration. We take two trips each year (fall and spring) to tour different healthcare facilities, and meet with the administrators, CEOs, etc. The time commitment is very minimal. We have meetings about once a month, and during these we go over planning of trips, and may have speakers come talk to us. Joining us in SHMA will allow you to meet with some very powerful people in the healthcare world and make great contacts. The healthcare program at Concordia was recently re-accredited by the National Accreditation Board and is a top healthcare program in the country.
