The Concordia chapter of Sigma Iota Rho, Global Studies Honor Society, is a terrific opportunity for all Global Studies majors. Aside from recognizing academic excellence, the society strives to engage students with an ever-globalizing world. As a society, Sigma Iota Rho most often operates in small, group functions; although, there is always the possibility for larger functions on campus, in the community and abroad. Yearly elections provide an opportunity for members to distinguish themselves as globally-engaged leaders. There is a minimal (but active) time commitment, with meetings occurring on a semi-regular basis as designated by the members.
